The suite was surprisingly spacious, making it a perfect landing spot for our family trip. We had a lovely time in the sauna, and the whole tenth floor felt like our private space, which was great for bonding. With Ueno park just a short stroll away, we enjoyed some peaceful walks and grabbed delicious street food nearby. The cleanliness of the suite was impressive, and having a kitchenette allowed us some flexibility with meals during our stay.

The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals together as a family.
During my stay, I was disappointed with the room size. it felt cramped for a long visit. The bathroom sink drain was slow, causing water to pool after handwashing and leaving a residue, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, any extra cleaning required a fee, which I didn't expect during my six-night stay.

We found ourselves facing a wall from our room, which left us craving some natural light. The air conditioning had a mind of its own, turning off unexpectedly and leaving the room a bit humid at times. There was an unpleasant smell of yakiniku wafting in from the aircon, and any additional cleaning service came with a fee, which felt inconvenient during our stay.

The location blew me away! So close to several train stations like Okachimachi, making it easy to explore Tokyo. The nearby cafes and convenience stores added to the convenience. The apartment-style room felt spacious, especially for a family. we enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was such a time-saver. Our stay did have a couple of hiccups, like the microwave being unplugged when we arrived, which took some troubleshooting to fix. Also, the lamp had a cover that fell off. A luggage pickup service would have made things easier, even if it wasn't a deal-breaker. Overall, Section L Ueno offered a fantastic experience with room sizes rare for Tokyo hotels.

The Suite with Sauna was super spacious, making it a great spot for our family of five. We loved the comfy beds and the open layout felt really homey. Plus, having a washer/dryer was a game changer! But the air conditioning was a bit temperamental and turned off randomly, which wasn’t ideal. The view was nice, though!
